We’re thrilled to share some exciting news — Murphys the Opticians has a brand new display now live at the iconic Kelly’s Resort Hotel in Rosslare, and it’s been turning heads since the moment it went up last week.

We’ve installed a stunning showcase of frames and sunglasses just past reception, as you head towards La Marine restaurant — and honestly? It looks incredible.
Why Kelly’s Resort Hotel?
Kelly’s Resort Hotel needs no introduction in County Wexford. It’s a place synonymous with quality, style, and a genuine warmth that keeps guests coming back year after year. When we were thinking about where to bring the Murphys experience beyond our North Main Street home, Kelly’s felt like a natural fit.
We share the same values — a commitment to quality, an eye for the exceptional, and a belief that the details matter. It felt right.
What’s on Display
Our Kelly’s showcase features a carefully selected edit of frames and sunglasses from our finest suppliers — the kind of eyewear we source directly from optical fairs in Paris, Milan, Munich, and Antwerp, and bring back to Wexford because we genuinely believe they’re something special.
You’ll find pieces from some of our most-loved collections, including:
- Anne et Valentin — graphic, original frames handmade in France, designed by two opticians who set out to create what couldn’t be found anywhere else
- Theo — Antwerp-born, individual, unpredictable, and strangely classic all at once
- Garrett Leight — born on Venice Beach, Los Angeles; trendless and timeless frames with that effortless Californian ease
- Orgreen — clean Danish minimalism, handmade in Japan across 100 steps and six months of production
- SALT — born on the California coast, combining premium materials with refined Japanese craftsmanship
- Sabine Be — a French optician’s labour of love; all colour, fun, and brilliant design
- L.G.R — Italian artistry with African inspiration, each frame taking 8–14 weeks to complete by hand
Every brand on display is independent. Every frame is made with real craftsmanship. No mass production. No fast fashion. Just eyewear worth wearing.
