Our Story…
In 1961, Matthew qualified both as an optometrist and a pharmacist. Starting out in what was originally a bakery, Murphys the Opticians was established. Alison followed in her father’s footsteps, and established her own independent practice.
Situated in the heart of Wexford town, Murphys the Opticians has earned the reputation as an independent opticians dedicated to providing unparalleled eye care. These standards continue outside the eye test room by sourcing eyewear that you’ll love wearing .
